Once again the magical charm of winter is ahead. It not only carries snow and cold temperature with itself but with certain issues that the homeowners have to face. The condensation and damp is the biggest problem in the winter and dealing with it is not at all easy. First of all the reason behind the cause of condensation should be detected. Usually, condensation takes place when any low temperature material of building comes into contact with the moist air.
Normally you can detect the area which is affected by condensation as it forms on non-porous materials like the tiles, plastic ceiling, windows etc. in addition to this, it can also form in any surface and it is difficult to identify them till mould or fungus appear on them. It is better to deal with condensation in time before the problem become difficult to deal with.
Dealing with the condensation is not easy; some of the procedures are durable but are very expensive. The walls, windows, attic and the basements are the highly affected area of condensation and the expert usually recommends installing insulation at those places.
Due to temperature difference in the basements and attic they are the highly affected area of condensation and damp. Installing the insulation in proper way can provide a warmer home that is really essential to get rid of the mould and give your home a healthier environment to live in.  Some of the method to deal with the condensation is very easy to execute but the other process are quite complicated and need some technical specialization so as to deal with it easily.
You can insulate your attic by insulating a glass wool rolls or placing rocks between the timber beam buildings. Actually it is a DIY task where some specialization is needed so that there should be no gaps left in the insulation material. Though the procedure is very expensive and if you can’t afford it right now you can simply install fans so that the excessive moisture can be taken out. You can also keep extra care to allow the air to circulate so that you can stop condensation to appear.
